It is recognized for its trendy and quality residential and commercial properties in prime and strategic locations in the country such as Kuala Lumpur, Klang Valley, Penang Island, Johor Bahru, and Kota Kinabalu.
With multiple completed projects unsold, Mah Sing wanted to creatively sell them using digital channels to create mass awareness about the completed homes. The concern though was that the competitors were also launching similar campaigns to sellout completed homes.
Splash was faced with the challenge to position Mah Sing as 'top of the mind awareness' to beat the competition through digital channels. We anticipated a higher cost per result since multiple property developers were targeting the same segment.
APPROACH
The goal was to connect with ready-to-buy property buyers across the 5 hotspots in Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Johor, and Sabah.
Geo-targeting:
The advantage for Mah Sing was the diversified segments spread across the country. This gave direction to our strategy, which was based on geo-targeting social and search ads to the campaign landing page.
We not only targeted prospects 'living in these locations' but narrowed down to the specific project's location which was helpful in controlling our media buy spend ROI.
